Alpine Retreat is a two bedroom house set in a rural location just outside Queenstown.

The project focuses on a transparent living space which connects arrival with the dramatic views beyond of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables.

The scheme uses a simple roman brick to clad the form and a balast roof with local stone.

The project has a generous external space with landscape and fireplace that connects with the main living area.
